Grand Cru designates wines produced according to the regulations for Grand Cru of Vétroz. These require environmentally sustainable viticulture, limited yield and rigorous standards of vinification designed to preserve the character of the varietal and the terroir. The quality and authenticity of the grands crus of Vétroz are guaranteed by annual inspection of both vineyards and wines by a specially appointed commission.

WINEMAKINGThe grapes are unclustered and the skins are left in the juice during extended fermentation. This wine is lightly pressured. Second fermentation and removing of carbon dioxide. Concentration of extracts and tannins by must extraction (20%) before fermentation.

TASTINGThe lush, smooth texture of the Pinot Noir combines beautifully with the tannins. The result is a pleasant and structured wine. The Pinot Noir grapes are rapidly picked in order to preserve the complexity of the aroma. The deep and rich bouquet develops after a few years of storing.
GASTRONOMYFine and strong. Goes well with red meat, game, and cheese.
